high school testing!?!?!
Today was Taradale High School testing. We went over at nine o'clock and did tests for next year. We all started of in the hall and then 4 groups got taken out and went into the computer room. I was lucky enough to stay in the hall with most of my friends. In the hall we did 2 tests a reading one and a maths one. I think I did really well on my maths one but not so good on my reading. Then came morning Tea. we all got back together in 1 big group and sat down to eat and had a talk about our tests. After it was my turn to go into the computer room to do 2 more tests!!!!!!. It was another reading and another maths test. Far out how many test do we have to do i said to myself. I think the tests on the computers were not so hard because we didn' have to write a single word. After we had been in the computer room for 2 hours. We got some fresh air and went back to Taradale Intermediate. I hope I did well in my tests and get put in a high class with all my freinds
Thanks for reading my day

Big day out!!!!!
Room 24 and 17 headed off for our BIG DAY OUT on the 17th of Novemeber. We were all ready and excited for a acting packed day of optimist yachting and rock climbing. First up was yachting, we knew it was going to be intersting with the white caps on the pond and the high winds. What made it more fun was that we had to use the paddles instead of the sails,it was alot more tiring on the body. WOW the race was on between the teams of 4 to get the ultimate prize of the golden crunchie bar and we weren't about to let anyone beat us.The aim was to get your team of 4 from on side if the pond to the other with only having two of your team in the yacht at one time.Thomas and I got off to a flying start with being in front at the 1st lap only to drop into 2nd place and this is were we finished up. my tummy was really lokking forward to that chocolate bar;-( owell ill have to wait until the next challenge.
Finally with the the wind dying down we were able to use our sails this time everyone got the crunchie. i relly enjoyed my time yachting but i dont thinl i would like to do this in the big open sea. YAY lunch time then it was off to rock climbing at salty rock wich had changed heaps since i was there last.I think i did really well because i got further than what i expected.Looking forward to heading home so i could chill out after a busy day. OH NO NOW I HAVE 4 GAMES OF HOCKEY

my darwin award!!!!
Napier 2008
A man tought he could fly off a 200m cliff with 200 hilium balloons tired to the top half of his body. but he wanted to go even higher so he tied 50 fireworks to his legs. when he was hanging of the 200m cliff he we came to a stop. he wanted to keep going so he lighted the fireworks and from all the heat and sparks the balloons popped and he fell 200m to his death.
a helicpoter rescud him 5 weeks later

Other darwin awards
(14 April 2008, Texas) A contract worker was hired to install reinforcement bars on a communications tower near Camp Bullis. He was wielding power tools high above the ground, when two other workers saw him lean back and fall 225 feet to his death. Turns out, the man had loosened the bolts on the bar to which he was attached.
Police are calling it a tragic accident.
(8 March 2008, Florida) Just because you see it online does not mean it's a good idea. Cameron, 18, was joyriding in a shopping cart as he held onto a moving SUV. An eyewitness said, "It's irresponsible behavior, but what do you expect from kids?" The car and the cart went over a speed bump and the cart overturned, ejecting its occupant, who was not wearing the little seat belt. Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene
26 May 2004, Wolfsberg, Austria) The manager of an apartment house was surprised to find the legs of a corpse sticking out an apartment window. Police entered the apartment and found the deceased man's head soaking in a sink full of hot water.
Apparently the out-of-work Austrian had returned home after a night of drinking and drugs. He decided to slip in through the kitchen window. The window was fixed at the base and tilted out, giving him just enough room to squeeze his head through as far as the sink before he got stuck. While flailing around trying to escape, he turned on the hot water tap.
Police were not sure why he had not turned off the water, pulled the plug, or--perhaps most important--entered through the front door, since they found the keys in his pants pocket.
11 May 2004, South Africa) The mighty oak trees of Stellenbosch, a city near Cape Town, were planted over 300 years ago. In recent years, they have begun to succumb to disease. The city has been cutting them down and planting new trees.
A man was sitting at a cafe, watching a team with loud chain saws working to remove a tree whose center had become dangerously decayed. The arborists had marked the danger zone with red and white barrier tape, and posted notices of danger, taking every precaution to prevent damage to property or persons.
Just as the tree was ready to fall, and the chainsaw operator was making the final cut, our man jumped up from his seat in the cafe. He ducked under the safety tape and started hurrying up the pavement to meet his girlfriend at a nearby shop. Despite the workers' frantic shouts, he continued toward the tree that by this time was falling as planned.
The chainsaw operator tried a desperate tackle to get him out the way, but it was too late. Missing the would-be rescuer by inches, the tree landed on the man's head, killing him instantly. And that is how one can qualify for a Darwin Award simply by walking under a tree.

Poem
you fart and make me smell it,
you are bonkers you are crackers,
one finger shoved right up your nose
and one hand on your knackers.
the foulness of your flatulence,
from deep in bowel walls,
has stripped and burned the paper,
from right off the bedroom walls.
the acrid smoke of brownish green,
emitted from your bottom,
has permeated everything
and made the house smell rotten.
a Jeremiah I am not,
and neither a soothsayer,
but I believe YOU made the hole
in the bloody ozone layer!
So when we're burning in the sun,
we'll all know in our hearts,
one person has destroyed the earth,
with nothing more than fatrs!
you are bonkers you are crackers,
one finger shoved right up your nose
and one hand on your knackers.
the foulness of your flatulence,
from deep in bowel walls,
has stripped and burned the paper,
from right off the bedroom walls.
